Once again, the Danish ICT Industry Association’s Policy Board for Female Leaders in the IT industry invites you to the mentor event on November 17th, which marks the start of the 11th round of the mentor program for women in the IT industry.
As a participant, you will have a unique opportunity to strengthen your career. You will be assigned a personal mentor who can act as a sparring partner and, with a successful career behind them, has plenty of experience to share.

Participation is free, but registration is required. The mentor program is primarily for the members of The Danish ICT Industry Association
What do we expect from you as a mentee?
Once you have registered for the event, you will receive a confirmation email with a questionnaire, which MUST be completed by November 10, 2026, as the responses will be used for the matching process.
- You are a woman with ambitions to further develop your career in the IT industry.
- You have professional experience and understand the purpose and benefits of collaborating with a more experienced colleague and leader.
- You set the framework and direction for the mentoring sessions.
- You must be able to prioritise time for the mentoring programme, including taking responsibility for staying in contact with your mentor.

Practical Information and Matching Process
The event on November 17th marks the beginning of the program, offering you, as a mentee, the chance to introduce yourself and gain insights into the program’s details.
Following this event, the matching process commences. The Policy Board for Female Leaders in the IT Industry oversees the mentor program, responsible for selecting and pairing mentors and mentees. This selection process considers the questionnaire completed by participating mentees before the event and your presentations on November 17th.
The Policy Board strives to make the best possible matches for as many participants as they can. However, due to the increasing number of mentee registrations, we cannot guarantee a match for every mentee.
Once mentees and mentors have been paired, mentees will be contacted, and it becomes the mentee’s responsibility to initiate contact with their assigned mentor and schedule the first meeting (to be done within 30 days).
As a mentee, you can anticipate that your mentor will be available for a minimum of 5 interactions throughout the year, either through physical or virtual meetings and discussions. The new mentoring round commences in January 2027.
