“I decided to dip my toes”
As a Senior Account Director at Oracle Cloud, I help strategic enterprises optimize and future-proof their IT infrastructure.
My role is about translating business goals into scalable cloud strategies that drive measurable impact through Oracle’s IaaS and PaaS solutions.
At the intersection of technology and business, I help customers accelerate growth, reduce complexity, and stay ahead of disruption.
Throughout my workday, I touch base with the most modern AI infrastructure and cloud computing — but for the most part, we’re talking about raw cloud infrastructure.
This all sounds great, but let’s be honest — also a bit techy. Some would even claim it’s boring.
My job has very little to do with the actual technologies. It’s about people, relationships, and understanding complex business problems quickly — then translating them into solutions. Not products, but outcomes.
More often than not, the core factor is commercially driven, and a key part of my role is to evangelize the true commercial model of cloud that Oracle brings to the market.
It might still be the best-kept secret — but we’re working on that.
The most rewarding part is changing my customers’ perception of Oracle as a company — by meeting them with empathy, competence, and an intrinsic motivation to broaden their perspective on the cloud infrastructure market as they know it.
My path to IT has involved traditional education — a Master’s in International Business from CBS — mixed with hands-on experience in several roles at tech startups.
I’ve always had a flair for relationships, people, and sales, but somewhere along the way, I realized I also completely computed with complex IT. During my Master’s, I decided to dip my toes and ended up doing a double degree in Data in Business.
Fast forward through various roles, I landed here at Oracle. And to me, Oracle is home.
