Meet Sarah – Bridging IT and Business to Create Impact
Sarah Lundtang Ritz didn’t initially plan for a career in IT. Growing up around technology, she was curious about its role in shaping everyday life, but it wasn’t until she joined KMD as a student assistant that she truly saw its potential. This led to a graduate role in project management, implementing critical IT systems in Danish municipalities.
Today, as Director in KMD Health & Social, Sarah oversees the delivery of KMD Nexus, ensuring efficient implementation and operation while managing strategic partnerships that enhance the platform.
“IT transitions are complex, especially in the public sector, requiring both technical expertise and strategic execution. I quickly realized how much of a difference we, as IT providers, can make in ensuring smooth, effective implementations that benefit citizens and society. “
Sarah is passionate about making IT both powerful and user-friendly, ensuring technology is not just a tool but a seamless enabler of better workflows and decision-making.
“Technology should make work easier—not harder. IT must be intuitive, supportive, and seamlessly integrated into daily routines. Real success comes when technology is a natural extension of the user’s work, helping them focus on what truly matters.”
She is also a strong advocate for diversity in IT, emphasizing its role in driving innovation and business success.
“Diversity isn’t just about representation—it’s a strategic advantage. The best solutions emerge when different perspectives challenge and complement each other. By fostering an environment where differences are valued and leveraged, we create a culture that sees diversity not just as an ethical choice but as a necessity for driving innovation and success.
For Sarah, diversity is not just a value—it’s the foundation for creating smarter, more relevant technology in a rapidly evolving world.
